When you first enter the website for AskNow psychics, the first thing that you notice is a big advertisement offering five minutes of free reading with one of their psychics. The advertisements are very attractive, nothing cheesy, or dark like some psychic sites. The next thing you notice is how neatly the site is arranged, despite having a lot of information easily viewable.
Starting with that big banner on the main page, although attractive, if the page is reloaded you will notice at another psychic advertised in the place. When clicking on the banner, you will get a different message from each, although each gives the same message to every person. The unattractive aspect is that one message is full of promises of things like money on the way and the other warnings to beware and about opportunities that will change your life. The messages are very general but in a specific, misleading way that makes it seem like it is directed right at you, but really is directed at anyone who looks at it.
It seems there are about 300 psychics listed on the site, quite a large number. However, the active ones ready to give readings are listed first with page upon page of psychics who are unavailable but you can book a time with them for a reading. It is nice to have such a large selection of psychics, but they are only listed ten per page, so it takes some time to go through all the pages until you find something that you may want to try out.
The price range is average with most psychics charging the same per minute rate, which in general is very affordable in the psychic industry. In addition, they do offer the five free minutes of reading if you follow the banner, for new clients. The rating system is something to be desired though or perhaps the feedback. There were very few feedback entries on most of the psychics, a lot of feedback was marked IVR based rating, but with no indication of what that means. Although, it seems that they do allow the negative ratings to stand alongside the positive, so that does add some credibility.
The one advantage not seen on most psychic sites is that they do list their advisors by category. This is convenient if you want to just look at love or need to know about your career or money. They also allow you to choose advisors that specialize in past lives, numerology, astrology, or even tarot. In addition, they have a chat session available, so if you don’t want to use the telephone or can’t, you can have your reading right online with a live person.
The AskNow psychics site is well organized and easy to navigate, but looking through pages of psychics cannot only be time consuming and daunting, but frustrating. That is the main con that the site seems to offer. The pluses are the fair prices, the ability to have a reading online or by phone, and psychics organized by category to help you choose. Overall, the site carries a lot of credibility and appears to have a large client base to go with the large psychic base.
